HSS Security Solutions will begin the transition on Wednesday, January 25th starting with commercial fire accounts. Burglar/Intrusion accounts will transition over the next few weeks and should be complete by the end of February.
Moving our accounts to C.O.P.S. Monitoring will allow more advanced management functions, faster notifications, and unmatched redundancy with multiple load-sharing monitoring centers available to us (including one right here in Nashville). C.O.P.S. has been in business for more than forty years and is trusted by over four thousand dealers nationwide. We are confident this change will benefit our customers, both current and future.
Our office/service phone number will remain the same, and your bill will still come from HSS Security Solutions in Lebanon, TN. This transition will be nearly seamless and will require no interaction from most customers. As the accounts change over, your panel could show a Comm Fault or Phone Line Trouble for a few minutes. These are nothing to be concerned about, we will be manually testing communication with each panel as the program. If your account does require any kind of upgrade or interaction from you, we will reach out personally with details.
Should you need to reach the central station directly, their number is 800.633.2677. Please save that number, as they will reach out to attempt to verify signals in the event your alarm goes off. The central station is open 24/7 and will be able to take accounts on/off tests as well as cancel dispatch for accidental alarms.
The Central Station will be able to look up your account by receiver/account number, monitored address, name, phone number, or any combination of other information. You WILL need your passcode if you contact them or to cancel an alarm – If you don’t remember your passcode, please contact us to get it updated.
